Percy Allen at the Times reports that Chris Wilcox was arrested last Saturday in North Carolina and charged with carrying two concealed weapons.

I wouldn't read too much into this. Wilcox also was charged with a misdemeanor weapons charge a couple of years ago, and I doubt anybody remembers it. If this had happened in mid-February, it might have caused some damage, but not now. Even if Presti is looking to deal this summer, this issue will have been long-forgotten.

If I was a wealthy professional athlete, then I'd oftentimes carry a concealed weapon with me. I also wouldn't register it; that's due to my political beliefs, though.
