Thanks to Jason Whitlock for making an incisive point about the disparity between the coverage of the Olympic team and the Ryder Cup team.

The only chink in his argument is that the US had never lost in Olympic competition with professionals, while the Ryder Cup is usually tightly contested. Still, the fact that there isn't anything being written about the Ryder team being "lazy" or "uncoachable" reeks of something.
